Using external libraries in the SAS

External libraries are suported only via the SAS Make.include make file. New external libraries become software requirements for people building the SAS from sources.

External libraries are suppoorted via the EXTERNALS make file directive. Currently supported libraries:

Qt GUI toolkit: EXTERNALS = qt
xmgrace: EXTERNALS = grace
POW as in ftools: EXTERNALS= ftools
pgplot: EXTERNALS = pgplot
X11 libraries: EXTERNALS = X11
perl (for perl tasks): EXTERNALS = perl
fftw: EXTERNALS = fftw
