| 2005-08-29 | SU8.2 | Intel | MAND10 | I still have problems with the library requirements in "libextra", since many of my colleagues do have no appreciation of what can happen with software running off other libraries than the default system libraries. I would strongly suggest that you rename the shared libraries in libextra (say by adding a .xmm to the version number) and that you link to these libraries. By having a modified name of the shared libraries, you will get a minimum of disruption in larger clusters (e.g., where people use different versions of the operating system because they are lazy in upgrading). For you this is virtually no extra work, but it would save others lots of time. |

My mail address is snborah@sancharnet.in and borahsn@rediffmail.com. No problem in installing. But some problem in running, as my calibration files are not up to date. Not possible to download all by my dial-up connection. We have no broad band access here.
