Effective-area correction factors and rectification factors are tabulated against energy in the EFFAREACORR and RECTIFICATION extensions, repsectively. The relatively small number of elements in the tabulation compared with the number of RGS spectra elements has been determined by the smoothness of the functions concerned. The values at intermediate energies required for RMFs are determined by interpolation in the SAS.
