all the changes made in SAS versions 5.1.1 to 5.1.4. These SAS versions were not made public but were used in the SSC pipeline. Details of the SSC pipeline configuration can be found at http://xmmssc-www.star.le.ac.uk/pipeview/prod/ .
rgsrmfgen: the coding error in the generation of the RGS response (see XMM-NEWTON NEWS #6) has been rectified.
rgsevconvert: this new task can be used to convert RGS event lists created with SAS versions 5.0.0 and 5.0.3 to a format suitable for processing with RGS tasks in versions 5.1.0 and 5.2.0. Details of the procedure to follow for the conversion are given at http://xmm.esac.esa.int/sas/documentation/watchout .
