Incremental version of the XMM-Newton Slew Survey Catalogue: XMMSL1 Delta-5

An update to the XMM-Newton Slew Survey Catalogue (Delta-5) is now available. It can be accessed and searched with XSA, or downloaded as a FITS table from the XSA web page:

     http://xmm.esac.esa.int/xsa

The update contains data from 131 slew observations between revolutions 1866 and 2011. It covers 4637 square degrees, and contains 4115 new detections and 2192 new sources in the clean catalogue. The total sky coverage of the Slew Survey Catalogue is now around 51%.

11th Users Guide to the XMM-Newton SAS: update

XMM-Newton SOC has updated the Users Guide to the XMM-Newton Science Analysis System for SAS version 11.0, in order to include latest information on data analysis methods and updated SAS tasks.
