Patch 13.0.3 of the Science Analysis System (SAS) released

A new patch to SAS 13.0 has been issued due to problems found in diverse tasks under the ESAS subpackage included in SAS 13.0.1.

This patch is therefore exclusively related to analysis of extended sources performed with ESAS, and does not affect any other part of SAS.

A former patch, related only to OM data reduction and analysis (13.0.2), was released on the 8th of August. Both patches (13.0.2 and 13.0.3) are not related and can be installed individually.

Update of the EPIC and RGS Calibration Status Documents

New versions of the calibration status documents for EPIC and RGS have been released on the 27th and the 15th of August, respectively.

These documents are available from the XMM-Newton Calibration Portal:
