Astro-E2 ESA Guest Investigator Programme

Scientists belonging to institutions within ESA Member States may apply for observing time on the Japanese/US X-ray astronomy mission Astro-E2 through the ESA Astro-E2 Guest Investigator Programme (EAO-1). The aim of the programme is to maximize the scientific return from the mission through co-operation between European and Japanese scientists. The Announcement of Opportunity has opened on 2004 May 18. Proposals to participate in the EAO-1 must be prepared in accordance with the information available electronically from the web link below. Proposals must be submitted to ESA by August 18, 2004 at the latest with a copy to the relevant national funding institutions. The EAO-1 documents must be retrieved electronically from the ESA's Astro-E2 WWW home page;
