XMM-Newton EPIC image of WR 25, located in the Carina OB1 association. WR 25 is a Wolf-Rayet object composed of a WN and O4 star, and can be seen in the centre of the field of view. The image has been false-coloured by energy band as follows: low energy (0.2-1.0 keV) photons are shown in red, medium energy (1.0-2.0 keV) in green and high energy (2.0-12 keV) in blue. A large amount of extended emission can be seen in the low, and to some extent in the medium, energy bands. Investigator(s): A. J. J. Raassen, K. A. van der Hucht, R. Mewe, I. I. Antokhin, G.
